Yes — absolutely! Whether you’re new to leadership or already in a lay leadership role, the Momentum Fellowship Summit is designed to meet you where you are. Our sessions are grounded in personal reflection, skill-building, and community connection, making the content accessible and meaningful for participants at all experience levels. You don’t need a formal title or years of experience — just a passion for making a difference and a willingness to grow. This summit is about discovering your voice, connecting with others, and leaving with the tools and confidence to lead with purpose in your own unique way.
Yes — and we’re so glad you’re here. The Momentum Fellowship Summit is designed to offer depth and renewal for leaders at every stage of their journey. As a seasoned lay leader, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your leadership from a fresh perspective, connect with fellow changemakers, and explore new tools and frameworks that can elevate your impact. The summit isn’t just about learning new skills — it’s about re-centering your purpose, reigniting your passion, and expanding your vision for what’s possible in your community. Your experience is not only relevant — it’s invaluable.
Yes! We welcome and encourage multiple participants from the same organization. Momentum accepts communal cohorts of 2–10 people, so feel free to register together and grow together!
Yes! Absolutely. The North American Momentum Fellowships welcome Jewish women who are ready to strengthen and support Jewish life in their communities. Whether you:
You do not need to be part of an organization or have formal leadership experience. What matters most is your passion for Jewish community, your desire to grow your leadership skills, and your willingness to be part of a network of women committed to creating positive local impact.
Cohort Leaders may lead the Fellowship again with a new group. Because their role is specialized and essential to supporting new participants, Cohort Leaders are eligible to repeat the Fellowship experience each time they guide a new cohort.
For regular participants, the Fellowship is a one-time investment. Momentum is a non-profit that raises funds to invest and strengthen communities. In our approach, we wish to be able to offer these opportunities to as many women leaders wanting to join. Hence, Alumni are encouraged to stay engaged through Fellowship NEXT and other Momentum community events, but the core Fellowship is designed to be experienced only once per person.
Thank you for your interest in supporting our work — it means so much! There are several meaningful ways to contribute to Momentum and the Momentum Fellowship:

Fellowship NEXT is an exclusive program designed for graduates of the Momentum Fellowship who are ready to take their leadership to the next level. Building on the foundation of the Fellowship, this program offers continued opportunities for growth, collaboration, and meaningful impact. As a member of Fellowship NEXT, you’ll join a growing vibrant global network of like-minded leaders, all dedicated to creating lasting change within their communities and beyond.
Momentum’s Affinity Groups are small, facilitator-led communities designed to support Fellows in sustaining their leadership journey post-summit. These groups offer targeted spaces for connection, peer learning, and practical support around real-time challenges such as conflict resolution, fundraising, and community engagement. Organized by topic, role, or organizational affiliation, Affinity Groups empower Fellows to deepen relationships, exchange ideas, and lead with purpose. As a key component of Fellowship NEXT, they ensure the momentum continues—transforming personal growth into collective action and long-term impact within Jewish communities worldwide.
The in-person events at Momentum are a cornerstone of the Fellowship NEXT initiative, designed to deepen connection, capacity, and collaboration among Momentum Fellows. These immersive gatherings are more than just moments of inspiration—they are transformative experiences that cultivate leadership, peer support, and real-world application. By bringing Fellows together in a shared physical space, these events foster trust, build communal networks, and provide a dynamic forum for storytelling, experiential learning, and strategy exchange. Fellows gain access to expert-led workshops, peer-to-peer insights, and actionable tools tailored to their leadership journeys. As a result, they leave with renewed confidence, a sense of belonging, and concrete strategies they can implement in their communities.
Online learning plays a vital role in enhancing the Momentum Fellowship NEXT offerings by providing accessible, flexible, and engaging opportunities for ongoing leadership development. It allows Fellows from diverse geographic locations to connect, collaborate, and grow together in real time, breaking down barriers of distance and scheduling. Through carefully designed digital content, interactive webinars, and virtual peer engagement, online learning supports the Fellowship’s goals of continuous education and skills-building for impactful communal leadership. This approach not only complements in-person experiences, but also ensures sustained momentum and connection throughout the Fellowship journey.
